Radial drilling machine is a kind of general-purpose drilling equipment, which has the characteristics of wide range of use, flexible and convenient operation, etc. How does radial drilling machine drill holes on general workpieces.
1. Draw a line on the workpiece according to the requirements of the drawing, and punch the hole after inspection. The sample punching hole should be made larger so that the drill bit is not easy to deviate from the center.
2. Adjust the required speed and feed rate, and prepare the required cutting fluid.
3. According to the material characteristics and process requirements, sharpen the cutting angle of the drill bit.
4. Align the drill tip with the center of the drill hole. When setting the knife, observe from two vertical directions.
5. If the drilling is deviated, it must be corrected in time. The method of correction is: use oil groove chisel to chisel several grooves on the opposite side of the hole deviation for larger holes, and use sample punching for smaller holes. Drilling small holes can also be raised with horns in the direction of deflection. Then try drilling until the round dimple is corrected, remove the pad iron, and continue drilling.
6. When drilling through holes, it is best to switch to manual feeding when drilling through quickly.
7. If the hole cannot be drilled, the automatic feed stopper can be adjusted according to the hole depth before drilling.
8. When drilling deep holes, when the hole depth reaches more than 3 times the diameter, the drill bit must be withdrawn several times to remove chips.
9. When the drilling diameter is less than 35mm, it can be drilled at one time, and when it is larger than 35mm, it can be drilled twice. At this time, the diameter of the pre-drilled hole is 0.7 times the machining diameter.
