1.Power supply system: It consists of the main circuit, control circuit, etc., including water pressure protection and temperature protection systems to prevent the main circuit power supply from being automatically cut off when the water is cut off or the water cooling is insufficient, thus protecting the laser. The laser power output is determined by the on-off of the IGBT. By adjusting the duty cycle of the IGBT, the krypton lamp current can be controlled, and then the laser output power can be controlled.
2.Laser: Commonly used are YAG lasers, which use rubidium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet crystals as laser media. The Nd atomic content in the crystal is 0.6-1.1%. It is a solid laser that can excite pulsed lasers or continuous lasers and emit infrared rays with a wavelength of 1.064um. Its working principle is to place the laser crystal between two parallel reflectors to form an optical resonant cavity. When the pump lamp provides enough high-energy atoms, stimulated emission transitions occur in the laser material, forming laser light and emitting through 50% of the transmission mirrors in the resonant cavity.
3.Cooling system: Since there is energy loss when the laser is working, most of the lost energy is converted into heat. Therefore, a cooling system is required to prevent the temperature of the internal components of the laser from being too high. The cooling system mainly includes water tanks, water pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, condensers, etc. Its performance directly affects the laser beam quality, efficiency and working reliability.
4.Q switch: Q switch technology that uses acoustic-optical interaction to control the loss of the optical cavity. A typical Q switch mainly consists of three parts: an electroacoustic converter, an acoustic-optical medium and a sound-absorbing material. Acousto-optic Q modulation forms ultrasonic waves through electroacoustic conversion, which causes the refractive index of the modulating medium to change periodically, diffracting the incident light, causing diffraction loss, Q value decrease, and laser oscillation cannot be formed; when the number of energy level inversion particles reaches the saturation value, the ultrasonic field is suddenly removed, the diffraction effect disappears, the Q value in the cavity increases sharply, the laser oscillation recovers quickly, and the energy is output in the form of giant pulses.
5.Optical scanning system: It consists of a computer, I/O interface card, galvanometer power supply, galvanometer motor, and reflector. It is divided into X and Y direction scanning systems. The computer controls the scanning trajectory of the laser according to the designed graphics and text through a dedicated marking control software.
